Hammer & Son gin and vodka for hotels, restaurants, bars and events, in a five-litre pouch or a ten-litre bag-in-box. It is the distillate that goes into our bottles, packed at Vintre Møller and sent from the mill.
Pouch · Five litres
Guests see the Hammer & Son bottle they know. The pouch stays out of sight, and when the bottle runs low, whoever is on shift tops it up. One pouch does the work of seven bottles: one delivery, one thing to recycle.
Bag-in-box · Ten litres
A conference, a wedding, a festival bar, a weekend that will empty a back bar. One carton on the counter instead of fourteen bottles to chill, set out, and clear away when the night is over.
Why we do it
Every bottle travels with a closure, a label, a carton and its share of the freight, and then it is empty. For a bar that pours the same spirit every night, that is a lot of weight moved for very little.
So we fill in bulk at the mill. The pour is the same, the bottle on the bar is the same, and the stills, the well water and the method are unchanged. What leaves Vintre Møller is lighter, and what is left at the end of the night is smaller.
